Peak Horsepower Bridleways Group was set up to lobby and work for improvements in equestrian access in the Peak District National Park.
Bridleway groups and riding clubs throughout the Peak District are affiliated to us.
Individual membership is open to anyone sharing our aims and objectives.
Membership costs £5.00 and covers all family members who ride.
Our priorities are:
Lobbying for improvements to off-tarmac riding routes to make them safe and accessible
Researching lost bridleways and getting them onto the rights of way map
Exploring ways of linking up existing riding routes.
Campaigning to stop ‘off-roading’ by 4x4s and motor bikes damaging riding routes and making them dangerous.
We also organise pleasure rides, usually two a year, and bridleway clearance days
Please join because the more members we have, the more influence we have with the Peak District National Park and the highway authorities.
